How to lubricate the CO2 laser guides?

There is a range of greases and oils suitable for the linear guides used in laser plotters. However, it is best to use the same oil that was used by the manufacturer. Typically, it is a 68 viscosity oil with additional anti-soiling and anti-stick "ANTI STICK SLIP" ingredients.

The most commonly used preparations (lubricants):
-BEACON EP1, Fa. ESSO
-Microlube GB0, (KP 0 N-20), Staburags NBU8EP, Isoflex Spezial, Fa. KLÜBER
-Optimol Longtime PD0, PD1 or PD2 depending on the application temperature, Fa. OPTIMOL
-Paragon EP1, (KP 1 N-30), Fa. DEA
-Multifak EP1, Fa. TEXACO
